It has been a challenging couple of weeks for the entire world. Our everyday routines have been forced to change, and we have all had to make difficult choices to keep all around us safe. Stores, restaurants and parks have closed. Many have lost their jobs. We aren’t able to gather with family, friends, and hug our loved ones. Healthcare workers and first responders are in the front lines of all of this, doing what they can to keep us all safe. We are all being affected by this virus.
In the midst of it all, communities have come together to uplift and support one another. Even the smallest gestures can really make a difference in someone's life right now. We’ve seen countless communities rally in front of hospitals showing support. People getting out their sewing machines, making fabric masks for those who need them. Birthday parades of cars celebrating each other and so much more of these stories, I’ve sure you’ve seen or heard of.
We wanted to showcase these Beautiful Moments, I’m sure all of us could use some positivity and light right now. Here are a few we wanted to share with you. These moments are incredibly touching and we hope they put a smile on your face.
Swish Flowers, floral boutique with 3 locations in Alberta. They rallied all of their followers on Instagram and Facebook and asked them to share a message of gratitude to a Doctor in their community. All of these messages were compiled along with a beautiful floral arrangement and sent to her. Right now, healthcare workers are keeping us safe through this pandemic, with decreasing supplies of protective gear. It's up to us to help keep them safe, in anyway that we can.
Many retailers and restaurants are doing safe doorstep deliveries. We’ve seen so many windows and front yards decorated with signs spreading words of encouragement and strength to all. Just a reminder to everyone who sees, that we will get through this!
In the last while, with many people everywhere losing their jobs and being laid off. Many families are struggling with everyday costs of living. Many food banks have been depleted all over the world. So many businesses have used their resources to help food banks keep up with the demand of their communities. Black Tartan, a restaurant in a small town in Ontario, Canada is one of them.
Practicing social distancing is so important in order to keep all of us safe. Doesn’t mean we can’t reach out to our loved ones. Retirement and nursing homes are on lock down to keep our seniors safe, as they are some of the most vulnerable to COVID 19. Families have stood outside the doors of these homes with signs, to show their love!

This whole pandemic has really shown us all that we can’t take anything for granted. As a global community we are all going through this together, and we will get through it together. Reach out to your friends, family, and coworkers, ask how they’re doing. The day that this is all over with, will be a truly beautiful day.
