On November 17th Bathorium is proud to present, Main Street Day. We will be donating 40% of our online sales to help Main Street build a Place of Their Own. The new Main Street Community Centre will be a 7,000sq ft state of the art facility that will impact hundreds more families in the Ottawa area.

AS A THANK YOU

Every purchase on November 17th will receive a special $20.00 gift!
Every order over $100 will receive this special gift, PLUS an amazing product from one of our incredible sponsors- of your choice!

MSCS is a registered charity that valiantly attempts to address a critical need by developing and implementing comprehensive, research-based programs for individuals who are challenged by a disability or an exceptionality.

Since Main Streets inception, MSCS has been providing programs and services for children and adults with disabilities and exceptionalities, and have demonstrated the widespread need for such an agency.

Main Street had stretched their capacity to the maximum on the top floor of a local high school in Stittsville Ontario. The classrooms were packed, the hallways were full and they  were non-accessible.

"That’s why for years we have been lobbying, fundraising and advocating for a ‘Place of Our Own”.  A central location where we could welcome more clients, accommodate more of our phenomenal programs and eliminate costs involved in having to rent facilities for training and summer camp for instance, and we finally have it! " Erica Lee, Assistant Executive Director

That’s where we can all make a difference. The old saying that “you never stand taller than when you bend down to help a child” resonates with anyone who has the opportunity to see the vulnerability of this population. They depend on others to ensure their success, realize their own potential and find their purpose.

Every dollar raised will help Main Street purchase computers, exercise equipment, arts and crafts, life skills supplies, and the big dream - a snoezelen room !

It’s not moving mountains or running marathons. All it takes is for each one of us to do our small part to make a huge impact.

 Why is Bathorium Getting Involved?

Co-founder and President of Bathorium, Greg Macdonald is the middle child in a family of six. One older brother Kevin Macdonald and twin younger brothers Aaron and Taylor Macdonald. Aaron and Taylor are both developmentally delayed and are in the full time care of Main Street Community Services at the age of 22 years old. Main Street Community Services has been with the boys for over 12 years, offering day programming, summer camps, family support and life skills. Currently Aaron and Taylor live separately at two of Main Streets respite homes in the Carp, Ontario area of Ottawa. Each of the boys has full time care work, other kids their age and a house full of love and support for them to flourish in as young adults.

bathorium greg macdonald main street day"Main Streets impact on my family has been life changing. Since I can remember MSCS has been there for my entire family and I don't know where would be without this incredible organization. We are very fortunate to have the love and support of Main Street, but there are many other families on the ever-growing waitlist. We will do everything we can as a business to support Main Street so they can touch many more families like they did to mine." - Greg Macdonald, Bathorium
